The Island Falls Senior Citizens met on Sept. 17 at the municipal building with 17 members present.
After a delicious potluck lunch, the business meeting was opened by president Rich Camire. After the Lord’s Prayer and Flag Salute, discussion centered on the annual fall outing, and it was decided to go to the Bridge Restaurant in Medway, with a foliage trip through the Grindstone Woods. Following this was a discussion on the annual fund-raiser for the scholarship fund, with no decision made.
After the meeting adjourned, members played several games of Bingo, with Edith Dwyer as the eventual winner.
Members present were Leon Botting, Jeanne Clements, Judy Botting, Ellie Peckler, Mary Lawler, Donna Baker, Ursula Levesque, Edith Dwyer, Gloria Noyes, Paige Coville, Darrell Hartin, Dennis Boone, Rich Camire, Verna Boone, Mary Joy, Donna Furrow and Terry Dwyer.
The next meeting will be the outing. Members are asked to meet at the municipal building at 11:15 a.m.
