HOULTON – Phyllis M. Benn, 92, died June 22, 2014, at a Houlton Hospital. She was born December 9, 1921, in Sangerville, the daughter of Walter and Mildred (Crawford) Kiley.
She was a communicant of St. Mary’s of the Visitation, where she had been a Eucharistic minister for many years. Phyllis was employed by Houlton Motors for over 30 years. She enjoyed bowling at the Houlton Lodge of Elks and the DUX Club in Houlton and was a member of R.S.V.P.
Phyllis is survived by a son, Earle G. Graham, his wife, Vickie and their daughter, Mandy Graham, all of Louisville, TX; a daughter, Sharon Albert, her husband, Larry, of Laurel, Maryland and their daughters, Katharine Albert and Elizabeth Hatcher and her husband, Sam; great-grandchildren, Tyler and Trevor Hatcher, Jessica, Nichole and Joe Albert; nieces and nephews, Kathy and David McQueen, Michael and Connie Benn and Sharon Benn. She will also be remem-bered by a special friend, Madeline Boutlier, and several friends and neighbors that kept watch over her during her illness. Phyllis was predeceased by husbands, Allison Graham in 1954, Carl Benn in 1985, and grandsons, Daniel Albert and David and Shane Graham.
A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at 2 p.m. Saturday at St. Mary’s of the Visitation Church in Houlton, with Rev. Roger Cyr celebrant. Friends called at the church from 1 p.m. until the time of the Mass. Interment was in St. Mary’s Cemetery in Houlton. Gifts in her memory may be made to the charity of your choice.
