    PT Leigh HutchinsonLeigh Albert Hutchinson, 77, passed away on June 23, 2014. He was born May 20, 1937, in Hodgdon to the late Asbra and Goldie (McGuire) Hutchinson. He graduated from Hodgdon High School where he played varsity basketball, baseball and enjoyed debating and public speaking, earning many awards. He loved coaching Little League and took his team to the championships. He was an active member of the Hodgdon School Board for many years.
    After high school he was employed by the Bangor and Aroostook Railroad for 31 years. He was a life member of the Mayflower Society, the IOOF (Oddfellows) and the Aroostook Masonic Lodge #197. He was a member of Woodstock Lodge, Chapter and Commandry but Monument Lodge #96 was his primary Lodge, where he achieved the rank of Worshipful Past Master and was honored as Mason of the Year two separate years. His other pleasures included putting on suppers for Lodge members, listening to the loons on Drews Lake, and being the “life of the party” on many bus tours.
    Leigh is survived by his wife, Myrna Gessner Hutchinson; brother, Philip Hutchinson; and three children; daughters, Terry and her husband, Michael Kenney, Cindy and her husband, Douglas Snell, son, Anthony and his wife, Delora Hutchinson. Leigh leaves behind three stepchildren, Charles Fortier, Michael and his wife, Mary Fortier, and Brian and his wife, Leila Fortier; special grand-children, Kelly and her husband, Michael Schlabach, Michelle and Jacob Snell, Tyler Hutchinson, Camille and her husband, Andrew McGrath, Jenna and Christopher Kenney, Samuel and Sarah Fortier and Jacob Wallace, who were dear to his heart; special nieces, Helen and her husband, Bruce Folsom, Christy Hutchinson; and nephew, Alex and his wife, Lisa Hutchinson.
    Leigh is predeceased by his parents; sisters, Eloise, Pauline, Athalene; brothers, Raymond, Eugene, Emery, and identical twin, Leon.
    The family wishes to thank Dr. Sussman and visiting nurses, especially Erin Mitchell.
    Friends called at Hodgdon Methodist Church from 11-1 p.m. Friday, June 27, 2014. Services followed at 1 p.m. with Pastor Wayne Robertson officiating. Donations can be made to the Houlton Humane Society and Cary Library in the care of Dunn Funeral Home. A reception followed the committal service at Terry Kenney’s home at 13 Highland Ave., Houlton. Funeral arrangements are by the Dunn Funeral Home, Houlton.
