    Ivey, Catherine L., 64, June 21, 2014.  Visiting hours are Friday, June 27 at Dunn Funeral Home where a service will be held Saturday, June 28 at 11 a.m.  Interment to be held in the Evergreen Cemetery.  Arrangements by Dunn Funeral Home, Houlton.

    AUGUSTA and HOULTON – Catherine L. (Kelley) Ivey, 64, died June 21, 2014, at Androscoggin Home Care and Hospice in Auburn after a brief illness. She was born in Houlton on February 11, 1950, the daughter of Donald and Mae (Tomah) Kelley.
    Catherine worked many years for the State of Maine, retiring in 2012. She was a tribal member of the Houlton Band of Maliseet Indians. She loved working in her flower gardens, and spending time with her beloved grandchildren, Parker and Madisan. Catherine will be remembered for her selfless nature and beautiful smile. She had a heart of gold when it came to caring and loving her many “kitties”, especially Marmalade, and her two dogs, Milo and Otie.
    She is survived by her husband, Steven Ivey, a son, Michael Shea and his wife, Anna; grandchildren, Parker and Madisan Shea, all of Augusta; stepchildren, Steve Green, Elizabeth Ivey-Heddinger and her husband, Rusty, Samuel Ivey and his wife, Tina; step-grandchildren, Steven Green, Ryan and Holly Heddinger, Matteya Ivey, Samuel and Caleb Ivey; two brothers, Patrick Kelley and Michael Kelley and his wife, Janice, of Houlton; sisters, Holly Lachance and her husband, Gary, of Lewiston, Rosemary Ivey and her companion, Terry Noonan of Littleton, Maureen Turnbull and her husband, John, of Westbrook, Heidi Kelley of Houlton, and Jennifer Kelley of Saco; one uncle, Bill Tomah, and two aunts, Deborah Tomah Atwin and Joyce Tomah; nieces and nephews, Jamie Kelley-Martinez, Tara Pullen, Darren Kelley, Jason Lachance, Melissa Ayub, Daniel Hiscoe, TedIvey, Jr., Julie Ivey, Sacha and Afton Turnbull; several great-nieces and nephews, and special friend, Jami Brown. She was predeceased by her parents and two children, Kelley and Larry Shea.
    Family and friends may visit 7-9 p.m. Friday, June 27, 2014, at Dunn Funeral Home where a service honoring Catherine’s life will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, June 28, 2014, with Rev. David Tuttle officiating. Interment will be at Evergreen Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to Catherine’s son, Michael Shea, care of Dunn Funeral Home, 11 Park Street, Houlton, ME 04730.
