HAMPTON BAYS, NY – Merle “Jerry” Pringle died Feb. 12, 2014, in Hampton Bays, NY. Jerry was born July 18, 1943, in Houlton, the son of Blanche and Lawrence Pringle.
He was a U.S. Army veteran. He worked at Brookhaven Labs, NY for 37 years.
He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Barbara Murgatroyd Pringle; a son, Jeremy; daughter, Jody Filippini; and three grandsons, Gabriel, Benjamin, and Samuel Filippini; brothers, William, Arthur, and John; sister, Mae Pringle Albert; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by brothers Larry and George Pringle.
Services were held Feb. 15, 2014 in Hampton Bays, NY.
