The Aroostook Musterds Running Club announces the first of its seven County Challenge Racing Series races, the 30th annual Wild Katahdin Trust Snow Run, will take place on Saturday, Feb. 15 beginning at the Millar Arena in Houlton. Registration begins at 9:30 a.m. The 5K walkers’ race begins at 10:45 a.m. and the 5K run begins at 11 a.m. The fee is $12 and the first 50 registrants will receive a long-sleeved T-shirt.
Awards will be given to the first male and female in the following age groups: under 14, 15-18, 19-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59 and over 60. The first male and female walkers to cross the finish line will also receive awards.
Refreshments and the traditional chicken stew will be available after the event, while a few door prizes will also be drawn.
