HOULTON — The Houlton Rotary Club recently welcomed Alan Lindquist and Peter Bates as new members to the global community of more than 1.2 million men and women dedicated to building a better world.

Lindquist is vice president of Political and Public Interest Fundraising and Campaigns. Bates is a U.S. Border Patrol federal agent. New members make Rotary stronger by bringing with them new skills, experience and enthusiasm to energize the club and fuel the objective of providing service above self.
