Pioneer Times Photo/Joseph CyrThe third annual “Pre-Thanksgiving Farmers’ Market” was held Saturday morning at Aroostook Milling on Hillview Avenue. Vendors and shoppers
alike braved the chilly temperatures to buy and sell items centered around the upcoming Thanksgiving holiday. Apples, root vegetables, meat birds, winter squash, pickles, honey and cider were all available to purchase. The goal of the market is to make the holiday more local by providing items that are grown or produced locally.
