Houlton from the Chicago area in 2003, taking a leap away from the city to pursue Lawless’ longtime interest in hobby farming. After settling into the area for a number of years, the couple started their dairy farm and creamery business with a foundation herd of six Nigerian dwarf goats in 2011. Took a Leap Farm products are sold on Saturday mornings at the Houlton Community Market (from Memorial Day through Columbus Day) and at their farm store at 243 B Road. With Harnish, right, is Rotarian Tammie Mulvey.
