HOULTON — Community Living Association held its annual staff appreciation event Sept. 6 with lots of camaraderie, laughter and good food.
But, the day was intended to pay special tribute to the staff who have reached five-year milestones and long term staff with 25 or more years of service. Annual recognition and appreciation bonuses were also presented to those staff with 15 or more years of service.
Recognized for five years of service: Kelly Baston, Marc Knapp, Liza Rose Leavitt, Carla Stewart, Meryl Sullivan, Jill Paradis, Deb Johnson, Susan Failing, Viola Bates, Miranda Farrar, Carol Blocker, Julie Warble, Tamiko Van Buskirk, Julie Shaw, Jane Theriault, Alicia Godfrin, Jennifer Stevens, Kimberly Williams and Laura Nason.

Staff with 15 years of service: Shelly Merritt, Ruth McEwen, Debra Ball, Laurie Flewelling, Billie Colter, Katie Jacobs, Patricia Shrout, Sra Smith and Beth Roberts.
Those with 20 years of service: Laurie Carr, Ronnie Bragg, Mary Carlos, Debbie Geiger-Cone, Ginny Tucker, Dawn Fitzpatrick, Johnica Aldrich, Jay Yerxa, Brenda Cummings and Dottie Hanning.
Staff with 25 to 29 years: Debbie Anderson, Theresa Toner, Belinda Langlois, Tracy Bouchard, Kristie Farrar, Vicki Donahue, Judy Doody, Wendy Tapley and Teresa Goguen.
Longtime employees 30 years or more: Sandra Malone, Wendy Scott, Laurie Saunders, Freida Bither, Susie Faulkner, Cindy Williams, Charlene Chase and Pat Lewis.
As part of Direct Support Professionals Recognition Week, CLA management would also like to thank all DSP’s for their caring diligent efforts to improve the everyday lives of the people they serve and helping people live happier, fully engaged, and unrestricted lives.
