The Southern Aroostook Minor Hockey Association will be holding a hockey clinic on Friday, Oct. 25 and Saturday, Oct. 26 for all levels at the Millar Civic Center.
Mites, Squirts, Peewees and Bantams, (sorry no goalies this time around), will be instructed by Dave Mumford, who brings a wealth of hockey experience to the youth.
“We are incredibly fortunate to have Dave working with our athletes and excited to be able to kick off the season with an intense practice of puck skills, shooting and power skating,” said Darcy Lorom of SAMHA.
Here are the important details to know:
All registrations must be on or before Sept. 18 — hockey registration is being held at the Millar Civic Center on Sept. 18 from 6-8 p.m. While registering for a team, register for this clinic, with payment being made at time of registration. All checks will be made out to: Darcy Lorom.
If you choose to register before Sept. 18, e-mail Lorom at dlorom@pwless.net with the child’s name and hockey level and then proceed to mail/drop off payment to: Darcy Lorom, 7 Ridgeway St., Houlton, ME. 04730 (All payments must be received by Sept. 18).
Cost for the clinic will be as follow: Mites: $40, and all other levels (Squirts/Peewees/ Bantams), $60.
After the deadline of Sept. 18, organizers will be opening up available spots to other organizations and spots will fill quickly — so do not miss out on this awesome opportunity that is necessary to help your child gain the hockey skills necessary to be successful! Only 20 skaters per level will be allowed — first come, first served.
