Adult Education programs across the state have been notified of a Maine program to expand College Transitions services to more Maine residents. College Transitions (CT) is a 12-week program of college preparatory classes, financial aid and career counseling, and college visits.
This course is a complete package of what every student of any age should know, and be aware of, before applying to college.
During the 2013-14 school year, Houlton-Hodgdon Adult Education will begin expanding its College Transitions program to the Danforth and Katahdin areas. Adult students who have not yet completed their high school credential may also qualify for Phase One of this program.
Fall term CT classes begin Sept. 9 and spring term CT classes begin in mid-January 2014. For more information about this program, contact Bernadette Farrar or Tracy Rockwell at the Houlton Higher Education Center at 521-3100 x5.
