The Bridgewater Historical Association is holding its first yard sale of the year on Friday and Saturday Aug. 23 and 24 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Donations are still being accepted however no clothing or electronics. Thank you. We have some table space available to rent at $10 per table for the two days. If you would like to make a donation or rent a table please call 425-7901.

On Friday, Aug. 30, we will hold a dance from 8 p.m. to midnight. This will be a bit different than our regular dances as we are giving the members of “OUTSIDE IN” a chance to come down off the stage and join in with the dancing. Music will be provided by a CD player. Tickets are $5 each. There will be some goodies to eat. A good time will be had by all.
Just a reminder that our Thursday night music is still going on every week from 6 – 9 p.m. We have a great wood floor for you to strut your stuff on. We don’t charge a cover charge, however donations are greatly appreciated and help to keep this event and others at the hall going. Refreshments are available.
It is never too early to start thinking about a costume for our Halloween Dance. This event has grown steadily over the years and nearly every guest comes in costume so put your thinking cap on as we would like to keep this tradition going strong.
We would like to thank all those who attend our events and those who have made donations to the hall. Your support is appreciated by all at the BHA. Thanks to the hard working members of the BHA we are able to continue. It may not be a large crew, but we do get a lot done. For more info about the BHA to join or make a donation contact us at: BHA PO Box 341, Bridgewater, Me 04735 or call 425-7901.
