Congratulations to 14-year-old member Wesley Raymond for scoring a hole-in-one, Aug. 6 on No. 16 with a seven iron and a guest to the course, Brad Parker also scored a hole-in-one on No. 7 on July 29.
Twilight League results for Aug. 6 are as follows: Stu Kelly and Jon Smallwood beat Steve and Parker Walker; Ben Walker and Brian McAuliffe bested Tom Ryan and Bill Boulier; Ralph Powers and Ted Pettingill beat Brent Kelly and Joe Kelly; Steve Merry and Evan Boutilier won a close one over Peter Blood and Greg Gayne; Ola Tucker and Tim Thoreson beat Joe McAuliffe and Stephen Waller; and Warren Walker and Bill Dwyer had a bye. The Twilight League playoffs will begin on Aug. 13.
On Saturday Aug 17, there will be a dinner to benefit the “Protect Our Lakes,” a local organization. The dinner is a chicken barbeque at Craig’s Maine Course at 6 p.m. Entertainment will be provided.
Great news that VaJoWa’s John Walker has come home from the hospital after an extended stay. Everyone at VaJoWa wishes him a speedy and complete recovery.
