The course is in great shape in spite of the wet spring. Our great grounds crew is working diligently to maintain and improve conditions. Caution is still requested in the use of carts as there are still spots that are very wet . The rain has not dampened the spirits of the golf fans and fanatics here at VaJoWa.
The $99 season ticket for new members is still in effect until the end of June. So far more than 100 people have taken advantage of this great opportunity for golf on this beautiful and challenging course. There are still lots of holes to adopt in the “adopt a hole” program. Get together with your golfing buddies and adopt a hole to beautify and to give a little “TLC.” Be creative, but check with management about your ideas.
Men’s Twilite League begins this week. There will be a Tuesday 5:30 p.m. and a Thursday 3:30 p.m. league. Sign-up sheets are in the Pro-Shop. As of yet no date or time as been set for Women’s Day. Couples get together and play on Sunday afternoon at 3 p.m. for a variety of fun-filled scrambles and lighthearted competitions.
