A new chapter in business development was written on June 5, 2013 when over
a dozen businesses in Aroostook County, Maine met via the Internet to discuss marketing and communications issues at three sites, the Univ. of Maine at Fort Kent, Northern Maine Development Corp. in Caribou, and Region Two School of Applied Technology in Houlton. Nancy Marshall from Nancy Marshall Communications facilitated the session through technology provided by the USDA RUS grant and the CONNECT ME authority. More Internet-focused business sessions and related adult education classes will be offered across the state of Maine in the fall of 2013.
