A group of 29 members and four guests met at the Oakfield Snowmobile Club on Wednesday, June 5 for their first meeting of the month. We had potluck for lunch it was very tasty. The blessing was said and everyone enjoyed the meal.
After lunch, the Lord’s Prayer and flag salute was led by Bob Locke. We had a very special guest Tony Bowers from Island Falls. Very happy people and also a lot of good-natured laughter greeted him. He spoke to us about being at the World Trade Center just after Sept. 11. It was interesting. The stories he told about identifying the remains and how busy they were.
