There will be two quality basketball games at Houlton High School on Saturday, June 15 at 3:30 and 5 p.m.
The Maine Athletic Club AAU U15 and U17 teams will be playing the New Brunswink provincial teams in two high level games.
Doors open at 3 p.m. and the U15 game gets underway at 3:30 p.m. This game will feature some of Maine’s best freshman including Nick Gilpin of Hampden. Other players include Riley Robinson of Dirigo, Jake Black, Connor Moore, and Brendon McIntyre of Hampden, Hunter Smith of Foxcroft, and Andrew Fleming of Oxford Hills. This team has been dominating all over New England.
The highlight of the night will be when the U17 game starts. The MAC roster consists of Kyle Bouchard of Houlton, Zach Gilpin and Cam Scott of Hampden, Xavier Lewis of Bangor, Mike McDevitt of Greely, Andrew Cartwright of Newport, and Andrew Middleton of Leavitt.
The team they are playing will be representing New Brunswick in the Canada Summer Games in August. This should be a great night of basketball!
