Men’s Twilite League play began for the 2013 season on June 3.
With three divisions again this year, the action appears to be as heated as ever.
The Jerry York/Bob Gray team and the Bob Askren/Vaughn Putnam team look to be contenders in the Els League, while the Guy/Palmer and Bouchard/Fogarty teams are strong in the Michelson Division. League play will continue into August before the 16-team playoffs begin.
The 12th annual Memorial Tournament was postponed due to rain last weekend and will be held Saturday, June 15, at 1 p.m. The format is a four-person modified scramble. There is room for four more teams, so gin up now.
Also coming Saturday, July 6, is the annual Houlton High School Alumni Scramble.
Get your four-person team together and be ready for this nine-hole golf treat at 9 a.m.
You do not have to be an HHS alumnus to play.

Houlton High School Alumni Social will be held at 4:30 p.m. that afternoon, followed by the Houlton High School Class of 1973 reunion.
