Harris Tucker has officially resigned as varsity girls basketball coach at Southern Aroostook Community High School.
In Tucker’s resignation letter to SACS Principal Jon Porter, he stated he was stepping down so that he could “have opportunity to watch his daughter play in her senior season.”
Tucker added, he was looking forward to being a dad for her senior year.
“I want to extend my deepest gratitude for the valued service that coach Tucker has given to our student-athletes here at Southern Aroostook,” said Porter.
Tucker coached the girl’s varsity basketball team for two years.
