PRESQUE ISLE — The Northern Maine young professionals group Momentum Aroostook is kicking off their spring event season with a beer-pairing dinner at Café Sorpreso on Monday, May 13, at 5:30 p.m.
“The Momentum Aroostook Steering Committee is excited to host this event. The beer-pairing dinner is a great opportunity to reconnect with our members and raise awareness of Momentum Aroostook’s work in the community of highlighting the benefits of living and working in Northern Maine,” said Kari Wells-Puckett, chair of the Momentum Aroostook Steering Committee.
The four-course dining experience will feature two unique domestic beers, an Italian lager and a Belgian ale — each paired with a delicious delight created by Café Sorpreso’s award-winning culinary team.
This event will truly be a delectable experience for all who attend. The event opens with a social hour of appetizers and hors d’oeuvres paired with an Italian lager. The bar will be open for attendees to buy additional drinks. The remaining courses of the beer/dining event will be a sit-down event.
“Tickets are $35 per person which includes tax and gratuity. Tickets must be purchased in advance and go on sale May 1. Tickets are available at Bemis & Rossignol and Baressi Financial. There are only 60 seats available, so get your tickets now,” said Wells-Puckett.
