Gregg and Paula Smallwood of Patten are happy to announce the engagement of their daughter, Brooke Ashley Smallwood, to Brandon Basil McAvoy, son of Edward and Ona McAvoy of Benedicta.
Brooke is attending Husson University and will graduate on May 11, 2013, with her doctorate of physical therapy degree. Brandon received a bachelor degree in marine engineering from Maine Maritine Academy in 2011 and is employed by Pacific Drilling in the Gulf of Mexico.
The couple is planning a wedding for August 17, 2013, at Shin Pond Village.
