HOULTON, Maine — The Maine State Police Troop F barracks weekly report for incidents covering Monday, April 8 to Sunday, April 14 includes the following incidents in the Houlton Pioneer Times’ coverage area.

Monday, April 8

    Trooper Monahan and Sgt. Harris responded to Hodgdon for a death investigation. An 83-year-old male was found deceased in home by family members. He had recent medical issues and nothing suspicious was noted at the scene.
Trooper Lilley responded to Oakfield for a trespassing report. A male subject had been evicted from a residence and had returned without permission and the homeowner had blocked him in. After investigation, male was summonsed for criminal trespass and violating conditions of release. The following day, Trooper Lilley returned to the residence after it was found the man had again returned to the residence after being summonsed and told not to. This time the male was arrested for the criminal trespass and violating conditions of release and brought to the Aroostook County jail.
Tuesday, April 9
Trooper Clark received a report of a burglary at an abandoned residence located on the Crystal Road in Crystal. The complainant reported they were last at the residence in December 2012. Investigation revealed copper water lines had been removed, the water heater destroyed and sump pump stolen. There was significant damage done.
Troopers Deschaine and Clark, Det. Crane and Sgt. Fuller responded to a 21-year-old male that was threatening suicide with a machete. When Troopers arrived, the man had thrown the machete in a field and had calmed down. He was taken to the hospital for an evaluation and was blue papered. There were no beds available and he was held at the hospital for the next day and a half. Houlton police assisted with providing an officer to watch the man until a bed was available.

Wednesday, April 10

    Trooper Sylvia, Det. Stoutamyer and Sgt. Fuller assisted MDEA as part of the Meth Lab Team in processing a meth lab in Oakfield. Troper Lilley assisted in providing scene security.
Thursday, April 11
An Island Falls landlord called requesting that a Trooper respond to remove a 47-year-old male from an apartment that he was previously evicted from. Trooper Clark responded and found the man coming out of the apartment. The man is on three sets of bail conditions. The man was arrested for criminal trespass, criminal mischief for breaking the lock hasp off the door, and violating conditions of release.
Trooper Clark assisted MDEA with arresting a man for his connection with the Meth lab in Oakfield.

Friday, April 12

    Trooper Clark took an embezzlement complaint from Vacation Land Estates in Island Falls. They reported that a former employee has taken thousands of dollars from the timeshare company. They have requested a forensic audit and suspect the theft will be close to $50,000.
Trooper Flynn and Sgt. Haines investigated an assault complaint in Bancroft. Two females were drinking at a residence and on the ride home began arguing and ended up in a physical altercation. One female sustained significant facial injuries and as a result, a 25-year-old Oakfield woman was charged with assault.
Saturday, April 13
Trooper Marquis arrested a 38-year-old Wallagrass woman and Trooper Sylvia arrested a 23-year-old Houlton woman, both on arrest warrants.
Trooper Quint responded to a residence in Cary after receiving a report of an underage drinking party. Tr. Quint located several juveniles at the residence and confirmed the party was going on in a garage. The homeowner was summonsed for providing a place for minors to consume alcohol.
