Edith (Aunt Dee) Lillian Jones, 90, of Houlton, died April 14, 2013. She was born on October 6, 1922 in Brookton, the daughter of Laroy and Lillian (Thornton) Nason.
She retired from Pratt & Whitney and enjoyed square dancing.
She was survived by one nephew, Lawrence Lyon; five nieces, Ruth Foster, Bonnie Sue Kilmartin, Sharon Binette, Jeannie Call Bennett, and Genevieve Gilpatrick; many great-nieces and nephews whom she loved greatly. She was predeceased by her husband, Alton Jones; sisters, Bernice Call, Virgina Clough, Mavis Gilman, and Grace Coy; twin siblings, Alta and Laroy; and great-nieces and nephews, John Gilman Jr., Norma Melanson, and Roland and Joan Caldwell.
Friends may call Friday 12-1 at the Brookton Pentecostal Church with the funeral following at 1 p.m. with Pastor Frank Godley. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a local humane Society. Arrangements by Bowers Funeral Home.
