The Purple Hat Society met at A Place to Eat in Oakfield on Tuesday, April 9. The attendance was small as the weather was snowy and sloppy.
Charlotte Marley greeted everyone wearing their Purple Hat. (There were no fines for empty heads). Wanetta Townsend offered the blessing before the meal.
Members celebrating birthdays during April are: Marie Gillotti, Peggy and Paula Wyman. Receiving Bears of the Month were Bernice Campbell and Marsha Reed. Giving readings were J. Colella, Millie Gagnon and Marie Gillotti.
