A convicted sex offender from Linneus pleaded not guilty Tuesday to possession of child pornography, according to WABI-TV. Ronald Trecartin, 30, appeared in federal court in Bangor. Investigators say they searched his home last fall and found two computers and a handheld video game with images of child porn.
Trecartin was previously convicted in Houlton for exposing himself to a group of children.
Trecartin is due back in court at the end of the week for a bail hearing.
