Harbison Plumbing and Heating to help answer consumer questions
Since 1936, Nelson & Small, Inc. has pioneered new technologies and has helped launch many new products into the marketplace from a broad array of industries.
If people have owned well-known brand-name products such as Armstrong, Formica, Frigidaire, Glastron, Motorola, Panasonic, Polaris, Pioneer, Yardman, or Zenith, more than likely they passed through their doors.

Today, they distribute three major product categories: Indoor air-quality products; heating and water-heating products and commercial laundry products.

BU-CLR-rotary-dcx-pt-13GUEST — Joining the Houlton Rotary Club for its regular Monday meeting, March 11, at Watson Hall was Steve Hayes, right, from Nelson and Small. Shown with Hayes are Lori Weston, left, vice president of the Houlton Rotary Club and John Harbison fellow Rotarian.

Steve Hayes sparked the Rotarians’ interest starting right off with the Burner Booster, which could save businesses or large facilities significantly on their heating expense. This product is 18 percent more efficient than the top burners currently installed, with 90 percent less emissions so it is also good for air quality.
The design originally came from commercial spray painting, and the designer asked himself why not fuel for heating? Why not? This is not for everyone but if you use 1,000 gallons or more on fuel every year you will find a savings. The more you use the quicker the payback.
Hayes did a demonstration at Harbison Plumbing that afternoon, and John Harbison would love to answer any question you may have about if this system is right for you.
Hayes discussed other products that they sell and one that is coming out soon, but the Rotarians were told it was classified so they will not go into the details, however, suffice to say, it sounds very exciting! So if anyone has been thinking about joining Rotary or coming for a visit, he/she just never knows what kind of “inside” information one may get.
