To the editor:
I have to get something off my chest. I went to church one Sunday and asked a minister if I could sing in the choir. He told me I’d have to check with a certain person and try out.
Well it reminded me of the country gospel song (“Trouble in Amen Corner”) that goes something like “does God make his choir of angels have tryouts too?” I’m sure he doesn’t.
