HOULTON, Maine — Young hoopsters will converge on Houlton this weekend to take part in the 3rd annual Houlton Shire Invitational.
Held Friday to Sunday, seven teams from Aroostook and Penobscot county will be participating including Easton, Caribou, Presque Isle, Houlton, Hodgdon, Dexter, Milford and Holbrook. All games will be played at the Gentle Memorial Building in Houlton.
Admission is $4 for adults per day and $3 for seniors 62 and older and students. Children four and under are free. A weekend pass is available at a cost of $7 for adults or $5 for seniors and students. Concessions will be available as well as tourney T-Shirts.
All proceeds from this tourney goes towards sending kids to basketball camp this summer.
