Softball clinic
There will be a one-day clinic for prospective softball umpires on Saturday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Presque Isle area.

There will also be another umpires clinic starting March 11 at Presque Isle High School.
Baseball umpires
The Northern Maine Board of Approved Baseball Umpires will hold its annual clinic for prospective umpires beginning Feb. 26 at 6 p.m.
The classes will be held at Andrews Hall on the campus of Northern Maine Community College. Successful candidates will begin umpiring this spring. Cost of the program is $40.
