CRYSTAL – Thomas Harry Brewer, 80, passed away Feb. 13, 2013, in Lincoln, after a long struggle with kidney disease. He was born March 9, 1933, in Crystal, the son of Harry and Ellen (Chambers) Brewer.
He was employed by Sherman Lumber Co. for 45 years as a re-saw operator.
He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Hazel (Tidd) Brewer; two sons, Gary Lee Brewer and Christine of Oakfield and Cecil Thomas Brewer of Crystal; two daughters, Bonita Lou and Henry Dunlap of Port St. Lucie, Fla., and Amanda Rae and Michael Casey of Harrison; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; a brother, Gordon Brewer and Norma of Holden; two sisters, Maxine Smith of Holden and Arlene Campbell of Fredericton, New Brunswick; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents; and a brother, Herman O. Brewer.
