HODGDON – Mr. Galen Darrell Tidd passed away January 31, 2013 at Forsyth Medical Center in Winston Salem, NC. Galen was born October 9, 1959 to Darrell and Geraldine Tidd.
For over 15 years, he served in the recreation department at Calvary Baptist Church. He demonstrated a servant’s heart as he ministered to communities both local and overseas.
Survivors are his wife of 14 years, Jenny; sons, Nathanial Galen and Elijah Daine of Houlton; his parents, Darrell and Geraldine Tidd of Hodgdon; two brothers, Greg and Kelly Tidd of Houlton and Gary Tidd of Hodgdon; three sisters, Deanna and Randy Quint of Hodgdon, Sue Lincoln of Presque Isle, and Lynn and Darin Sylvester of Bowdoinham, Maine; several nieces and nephews.
There will be no service. Donations in Galen’s memory can be sent to Hodgdon Baptist Church for the mission trip to Columbia, South America this summer.
