Edith C. Olson Dowling of Bethlehem, CT, Patten, and Island Falls, died January 25, 2013 in a Waterbury, CT hospital. Edtih was born on February 17, 1945 in Island Falls, daughter of the late Donald Olson and Rowena (Rodgerson) Olson.
Edith attended schools in Patten and Island Falls and Naugatuck, CT. She was retired from Uniroyal where she worked for several years. Edith was a loving, kind, and generous person.
She is survived by an uncle, Sherman Olson of Richmond, Wisc.; aunts, Barbara Rodgerson of Thomaston, CT, Gloria Erickson of Fridley, Minn., Audrey Irons of Garner, NC, Carol Patterson of Oakgrove, Minn., Maxine Brackett and husband, Richard, of Patten; several cousins; and a special friend, Roberta Defelice of Bethlehem, CT.
A graveside service will be held in the spring at the Island Falls Cemetery.
