NEW LIMERICK — Stan Harris, a native of Presque Isle, will be presenting a piano concert at County Road Baptist Church in New Limerick on July 6, at 10 a.m. Harris is currently the Music and Fine Arts director at Greater Houlton Christian Academy.
He has recently organized and conducted the D.C. Washington Concert for the area where he directed a combination of GHCA students and local talent for the choir and orchestra. He is just returning from a mission trip to Costa Rica, along with some other leaders and youth, and they’ll be sharing their experiences with others in the future.
Harris received his bachelor’s degree in music from Bob Jones University in Greenville, S.C. He is currently in the process of recording a Christmas piano CD.
