Somerville – Schoenfeld

    Geoffrey Gordon Somerville and Stephanie Lynn Schoenfeld exchanged wedding vows May 3, 2008, at the Old John Street United Methodist Church in New York City. The reception followed aboard the yacht Atlantica for an evening of dinner, dancing and a tour of the New York City harbor.     The bride is the daughter of Eric and Barbara Schoenfeld of Freehold, N.J. The maid of honor was Julie Robinson, cousin of the bride. Bridesmaids were Allison Guirgues and Jennifer Waddell, sisters of the groom, and Kathryn Roth and Barbara Weberski, friends of the bride.
    The groom is the son of Dr. Gordon and Mary Somerville, of Portage. The best man was Douglas Reh, friend of the groom. Groomsmen were Damien Goldberg and Michael Kivov, friends of the groom and Matthew Schoenfeld, brother of the bride. Avery Waddell, niece of the groom, was the flower girl and Alex Guirgues, nephew of the groom, was ring bearer.
    The bride is pursuing a master’s degree in education at Trinity College in Washington, D.C.
    The groom received a bachelor’s degree of arts from Boston College and a master of business administration from Georgetown University. He is employed with Object Video Federal Systems in D.C.
    The couple enjoyed a honeymoon to Costa Rica and reside in Washington D.C.
