HOULTON – Donald Leslie Hall, 64, passed away Sunday, Jan. 13, 2013, at his home. He was born Feb. 29, 1948, at Presque Isle, the son of Glen and C. Frances (Hafford) Hall.
At a young age, Donnie moved to Connecticut with his family. As an adult, he married and had a daughter, Jennifer. He enjoyed working as a drywaller and painter. He later moved back to Maine where he worked for Dunn Funeral Home for a short time and the Houlton Lodge of Elks where he easily made friends with many of the members. Donnie loved hunting and fishing with family and friends, especially his sister Arthurine, niece, Pam McGary, and his nephews, Clifford and Wayne Colter.
Donnie is survived by his daughter, Jennifer Nodine and her husband, Jeremy; grandchildren, Kylie and Faith, all of North Carolina; brother, Howard King and his wife, Kathy, of Vermont; sisters, Arthurine Colter and Jack Britton of Houlton, Darlene Murphy and her husband, Steven, of Florida, Judy Sear and her husband, Howie, Sandra Santarsiero and her husband, Jeff, all of Connecticut; his uncle Norman Hall and his wife, Marie, of Presque Isle; many nieces and nephews; special friends, Terry Clouse and Lois Nason; his dog, Cubby. He was predeceased by his mother, father and brother Larry.
Donnie’s family would like to express thanks to Dr. Manu for the care he provided to him.
