A small, but mighty Houlton High School Alumni band gathered for the annual performance at a varsity girls game on Saturday, treating fans to a fun show. These dedicated alum gathered for one hour to rehearse for the pre-game and halftime festivities. The most experienced alumni was David Flemington class of 1951 and the furthest traveled was Megan Gerath 2011.
The band was directed by Joe Fagnant and David McGillicuddy and treated to dinner by the RSU 29 Music Boosters organized by Michelle Hathaway and Nicki Roy.
The following alumni who participated were: Flemington ’51, Gary Bossie ‘57, Bob Ellis ’61, Penny Saunders Nevers ’61, McGillicuddy ’62, Jerry Riley ‘63, Rhonda Shaw ‘70, Brian Longstaff ‘77, Debbie Melvin ‘79, Jennifer Sargent Johnston ‘91, Jamie Sewell ‘00, Adam Brown ‘05, Eric Cone ‘11, Ashton Carmichael ‘11, Alishia Ledger ‘11, Gerath ‘11, Isaac Brown ‘12, Courtney Bragan ‘12, Nick Lowery ‘12, and Cody Woods ‘12.
Current Houlton band members assisting were Michael Blake, Natalie Rush and Robby Woods.
