Chicken, onions, and peppers

Members of the East Grand Outdoor Education class (left to right) Adreanna Philips, Cassidy Woo, Elizabeth Hood, Kim Stoddard and Chelsea Winiarski prepare ingredients for chicken fajitas to be cooked over an open fire while on a recent St. Croix River canoe trip. As part of the lead up to the outing, students had to come up with a menu, personal and community gear lists  including a discussion on how to plan for a late season outing as it relates to cold water and air temps, proper clothing and gear.
