    PATTEN – Morill J. Perry, 77, passed away Oct. 30, 2012. Morill was born Nov. 23, 1934, on the Perry farm in Sherman, to Dennis E. and Eva (Nye) Perry.
    He operated the farm most of his adult life until he sold it after he retired from farming and his job at the sawmill of Sherman Lumber Co.
    Morill was predeceased by his parents; and three brothers, Floyd Lindsey Sr., Dennis E. Perry Jr. and Ryle L. Perry Sr. He is survived by a brother, Levi “Bud” Perry and his wife, Judy, of Stanwood, Wash. He is also survived by nephews and nieces, Floyd Lindsey Jr., Sharon Nunelly, Ryle L. Perry Jr., David Perry, Joel Perry, Byron Perry, Jenell Tasby and Kelli Perry. Other survivors include several great-nieces, great-nephews and a great-great-niece.
    A graveside service was held at Sherman Corner Cemetery at 2 p.m. Monday, Nov. 5. Instead of flowers, the family requests donations to Morill’s favorites charities, Pine Tree Society of Maine or Disabled American Veterans. Arrangements by Bowers Funeral Home, Island Falls.
