Student Council is a school organization helping the students have a say in making the school a better environment. The purpose of student council is to focus on helping students feel comfortable and safe in their school environment. Student Council also has many fundraisers to raise money for the school and upcoming events.
One major fundraiser is Winter Ball, a dance that gives students the opportunity to dress their best and have a marvelous time with their friends. Another event the Student Council sponsors is Winter Carnival. Winter Carnival is a time during the winter where classes get a chance to compete against each other in many different activities. This event carries on for a full week before the actual activities happen. Through the week students are given an opportunity to gain points for their grade by participating in different themed days, by dressing up in the category chosen for that day.
