LOCAL LAW ENFORCEMENT

    LOCAL LAW ENFORCEMENT officials took on the role of gas station attendants recently, as they helped raise funds for Special Olympics.
Pictured, from left: Kenny Knowles, of the Aroostook County Sheriff’s Office; and Sgt. Laurie Kelly and Chief Naldo Gagnon, of the Presque Isle Police Department. Knowles, Kelly and Gagnon, joined by other officers throughout the day, pumped gas and washed windows for customers at the Main St. Irving (Blue Canoe) station in Presque Isle. The group raised just over $1,452 for Special Olympics.
