Ever imagined flying over the Himalayan Mountains especially Mt. Everest? Cool proposition?  That a species of crane do this flying as part of their yearly migration is just one of the interesting facts of Janice M. Hughes’ new book at Cary, “The Migration of Birds.” Both scholarly and entertaining, historical and looking to the future destiny of birds, this high quality book has many beautiful pictures.
