    HOULTON – Dorothy M. Wilde, 91, died Sept. 25, 2012 at a local healthcare facility. She was born March 1, 1921 at Houlton, the daughter of George W. and Abbie P. ( Dow) MacDonald.
    Dorothy was a very active member of the Military Street Baptist Church and the Monticello United Methodist Church. She enjoyed working with the church youth programs. She was a member of the Monticello United Methodist Women’s Auxiliary and the Houlton Garden Club.
    She worked as a LPN at Madigan Hospital, Aroostook Hospital and Houlton Regional Hospital and Madigan Estates Nursing Home until the age of 72.
    Dorothy is survived by four sons, Galen Wilde and his wife, Sharon, of Houlton, Jack Wilde and his wife, Angela, of Littleton, David Wilde and his wife, Carmen, of New Limerick, Elwood “Chip” Wilde, Jr. of Houlton; eleven grand-children, twenty-four great-grand-children; one sister, Jennie Webster of CT; many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Elwood Wilde, her five brothers, and three sisters.
    Friends may call at the Military Street Baptist Church Friday at 11 a.m. until the time of the service at 1 p.m. with Rev. Randall Burns officiating. Interment will be in the Evergreen Cemetery.
