Archery, trapping safety courses offered

    A Maine Inland Fisheries and Wildlife Hunter Education Archery and Crossbow Course will be offered by Richard Tidd and Lou Provost on Tuesday, Sept. 11 from 5:30 – 8:30 p.m. and on Saturday, Sept. 22 from 8 a.m.-1 p.m. at the church. The course is open to anyone 10 years of age or older. For additional information, and fees for this course, contact Richard Tidd (532-5658) or Lou Provost (538-6891).
    A Trapping Safety training program will be held at the Hodgdon Fire Department on Thursday, Sept. 6, from 6-9 p.m. and on Saturday, Sept. 15, at the Aroostook State Park in Presque Isle from 8 a.m.-4 p.m.
    Students ages 10-12 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian during the full program. The maximum capacity is 40 students. For more information, contact Traci Bushey at 435-3231 ext. 3.
