Mens, womens retreats slated for Sept. 15

    The Oxbow Congregational Church will be hosting two events at Umcolcus Sporting Camps.
    The BLITZ (Being Light In The Zoo) for the men is a one-day event on Saturday, Sept. 15, starting at 8 a.m. and concluding about 12 hours later. There will be videos (Francis Chan and others), worship, Bible study, alone/ recreation time, and important topics for men. The cost is $50 with all registrations due by Sept. 10.
    A ladies retreat will be on Friday, Sept. 21, continue during the day on Saturday, and concluding Sunday morning, Sept. 23. Their cost is $60 and they are asked to bring a sleeping bag, Bible, journal, toiletries, towel, a breakfast/snack item to share, and a kayak (if they desire). ‘Free Indeed’ will be leading the worship music.
