First Choice provides quality service to homebuyers and sellers

    HOULTON — Providing quality service to both homebuyers and sellers is the goal of First Choice Real Estate. “We assist people in buying and selling real estate,” said Lisa Collett, office manager/associate broker. “We handle residential, commercial, recreational property and land.”
    Located at 46 North Street, First Choice Real Estate began operations under its current ownership in January 2000. Owner Becky Day has been in the real estate business since 1987.

    They have five full-time and five part-time brokers as well as an office staff of two. First Choice Real Estate belongs to the statewide Multiple Listing Service, which puts its listings in the offices of over 300 brokers in Maine. They frequently have brokers from all over the state showing their listings.
    “Plus it puts our listings on Realtor.com, which is advertised nationwide by the National Association of Realtors,” Collett said. “We also have our own Web site with featured properties. “For the buyer, First Choice pledges to provide knowledgeable and courteous assistance in selecting the property to fit your specific needs,” said Collett.
    “For the seller, we pledge to market your property utilizing many proven marketing tools, and keep you apprised of the activity concerning your property. We follow the process from listing to closing to make sure it closes as smoothly as possible.”
    A large, full-service agency, First Choice Real Estate has an additional branch in Sherman, giving great coverage in the greater Katahdin area.
