The Bank of Maine was founded in 1834 with a single office located in Gardiner. Since then, the Bank has grown throughout the state with 33 branches from York to Fort Kent.     Just in the past year the Bank has opened new banking centers in Portland, Boothbay Harbor and Falmouth, inaugurated a new state-of-the-art Operations Center in Gardiner and lent over $575 million. In addition, the Bank introduced a Promise Rewards Checking Account that offers customers free ATM use at any ATM in the US, five cents back on qualifying transactions and no monthly fees. The Bank of Maine was also ranked as one of the top SBA lenders in Maine.
    The Bank of Maine has invested in new technologies and infrastructure including a new website with full online banking capabilities and mobile banking applications that serves its customers anytime, anywhere.
