PT Tanner Morse    SEARSPORT & STACYVILLE – Tanner Jonathan Morse, 4, passed away August 7, 2012 in Shin Pond. He was born February 17, 2008 in Bangor, the beloved son of Cody and Pam (Spooner) Morse.
Tanner was such an extraordinary boy: he loved being outside enjoying all things nature, especially the beach and fishing. He was often found playing basketball and he adored anything John Deere. He looked up to and adored his big sister, Nicole, and even though he was younger, he was always quick to shield her from harm. Tanner had a beautiful smile and an infectious laugh and was loved by everyone who knew him. He was always ready for roughhousing, but was also the most gentle, loving, and kindhearted soul on earth. His love for life and everyone around shown through in all he did. He will be greatly missed by everyone who was lucky enough to know him, and his memory will forever be kept alive in our hearts.
Tanner is survived by his mother, Pam of Searsport; his father, Cody of Stacyville; a sister, Nicole; maternal grandparents, Gayleen Spooner and Mike Beaulieu of Ashland; paternal grandparents, Craig and Jeanne Morse of Shin Pond and Rachel Shorey-Campbell and Ronald Campbell III of Patten; paternal great-grand-parents, Phil and Deanna Morse and Donald and Christine Shorey, all of Patten; paternal great-great grandmother, Nettie Shorey of Patten; aunts and uncles, Melissa Spooner of Presque Isle, Karen and Josh Toothaker of Stockton Springs, Sarah Spooner of Masardis, Josh and Jacquie Morse of Houlton, Jay Morse of Patten and Wyatt Morse of Shin Pond, Savannah Beach and Bailey Campbell, both of Patten; cousins, Chantel, Macy, Kaitlynn, Gage, Logan, Payton, Cara, Dominic and Jace; several great-aunts, great-uncles and great-cousins; and his special buddies, Kain McNally, Bradley Swallow, Kenna Stevens and Caitlin Duffy.
