Caleb Black of Monticello has completed his training at the United States Marine Corps base at Parris Island, S.C. and has attainted the rank of private. Black, the son of Darcy Black and grandson of Joseph and Geraldine Black, was a 2011 graduate of Houlton High School and a member of the Aroostook Football League’s Houlton Knights for four seasons. Black will continue his military training at Fort Geiger, N.C. and is engaged to Private First Class Marissa Parlin.
