Zella MacDonald, right, celebrated her 100th birthday at the Gardiner Health Care Facility on June 12. Joining her for the celebration were her sons Harold and Ervin MacDonald, along with a number of close friends, neighbors and members of the Houlton United Methodist Church. Pastor Naomi Sam-Kapra, left, acted the Master of Ceremonies for the special day. Cake and ice cream were provided and many stories were shared with MacDonald on her milestone birthday.
